Sarah Palin says Tea Party Movement is About the People for the People

I am placing this video on the blog NOT because I support Sarah but because I support some of the great ideas and principles behind the Tea Party Nation. Let’s face some of the facts:
First America is in it’s present situation partly because some of the people feel their vote just doesn’t count so they neglect to vote, some feel their voices and opinions are not heard or acted upon so they throw away their right to vote, and some have just gotten lazy and complacent and don’t exercise their right.
Second I believe America has gotten into it’s present situation because of both political parties being influenced by money, power, and greed. I do believe that if we stay following this progressive socialist path now referred to as populist, America is headed for some form of government where our God given Constitution and Bill of Rights will be eliminated or rendered utterly useless. A place where gov. controls your entire life, a place where freedom and liberty does not exist.
Third I believe America has gotten itself into trouble falling into this culture of granting rights to everything and everyone even if it’s unconstitutional and not biblical. The government is attempting to erase all traces of God from our nation and its history because that is the very foundation in which the pilgrims fled England and came here in the first place was to have the freedom to practice their christian religion. Look how far we have fallen with the removal of prayer and bible study from schools, banning christmas displays from private and public properties, legal disputes over teaching abstinence and yes even prayer at graduations in our public schools. How about the removal of the ten commandments and in some cases even the Declaration of Independence from schools and public property. How about the persecution of good people because they profess their faith in public including political figures. You can’t even say the word Merry Christmas anymore.
The Declaration of Independence even begins with the reference to the Laws of nature and of natures God and we are to hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, and are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights and also ends with an appeal to the “Supreme Judge of the World” and makes this strong declaration ” a firm reliance on the Protection of Divine Providence.”

Another example of our christian heritage was the first congress which appointed a chaplain, instituted daily payer and purchased 20,000 bibles now I know this may come as a shock those who do not know their American history but does this sound like a nation that wanted God and the Bible to be removed from public places and that there was no important need for these essentials. Go here and read George Washington’s First Presidential Thanksgiving Proclamation 1789 and read how many times he refers to God.
Or Abe Lincoln’s Proclamation of Thanksgiving as a yearly national holiday.
Our Founding fathers never intended to establish Christianity as a official religion for the Republic nor should they have but that does not diminish the fact of the roll it played and it’s importance to America. Our founding fathers were christian and smart enough to know the government should not and could not successfully establish it. Christianity is a religion of the heart, of private personal study, and one of personal obedience but they clearly did not take an approach of secular neutrality. They also understood that the population majority was christian and for the new government to work they wanted the role of the federal government to be to encourage Christianity by promoting the Bible and Christian values and morality.
I am simply saying in this post that I support the ideas and principles of steering our Great nation of the United States of America back to it’s roots with good Christian leadership in offices of government that will lead and listen to “we the people” and ” for the people” before it self destructs and sells itself to foreign ownership {which it is doing every time they borrow and print more money and continue spending like there is no tomorrow}. I don’t want the Tea Party to be a third Party and I don’t want the Tea Party to have a leader. I want it to stay focused on the issues of fundamental reform of our USA back to it’s old Godly, Glorious, and Prosperous ways and years by influencing both political parties to listen and do what we pay them to do or they can hit the unemployment line. We can come together and work together but it is going to be a long hard rough road out because we have strayed a long ways off but We Can Achieve Whatever We Believe and we have done it before but there is no time for delay or China and Japan are going to own our A$$es.
